94105 Neutral Density Filter, 1.25" by Celestron

The Neutral Density Moon Filter attaches to a 1.25" eyepiece to lower the amount of light entering the eyepiece by 87%. The Moon is one of the most viewed objects in the sky, but you shouldn't be deprived of its features due to brightness. This filter only allows 13% of the telescope's light to reach the eyepiece, making it a lot more comfortable to view. Unlike color filters, the Neutral Density Moon filter affects all colors of the visible spectrum evenly, darkening the image without shifting the color. Some Moon filters are #58 Green filters, and while they work well for cutting glare, they also add an unnatural green cast to the Moon's surface. The Neutral Density Moon filter gives a true color image.

This filter is also great for helping to cut glare and increase contrast when viewing bright planets like Venus or Jupiter, or even to dim bright stars when splitting close double stars. The filter is glass with an aluminum cell that attaches to 1.25" eyepieces and is threaded on both sides so it can be stacked with color filters.

94115-A 1.25" Star Diagonal by Celestron

The Celestron 1.25" Star Diagonal slides into the focuser (1.25") of your refractor or catadioptric telescope and accepts standard 1.25" eyepieces, allowing you to view objects more comfortably. A diagonal that is angled at 90° helps avoid neck strain when looking through through the eyepiece.

Please note that a 90° diagonal will display images that are right side up, but left to right orientation will be reversed.

94224 CG-5/AVX/CGEM Polar Finderscope by Celestron

Get some help polar aligning your Celestron CGEM, Advanced VX, or CG-5 mount with the addition of the Polar Finderscope. Install the finder into the polar finder port, located at the rear of the mount, and focus the eyepiece until the reticle is sharp.

The reticle is etched with a few recognizable star patterns to help you align your telescope. If you are using your telescope in the Northern Hemisphere, you will recognize the Big Dipper asterism on the reticle, as well as the familiar "W" of Cassiopeia. Use the Big Dipper to guide you in the spring and summer months, and Cassiopeia during the fall and winter. The North Star, Polaris, is also designated on the reticle, as is the NCP, or North Celestial Pole. Once you choose which star pattern to use, align your telescope so that the stars line up with the positions shown on the reticle, then move the telescope's azimuth and altitude adjustment controls to place Polaris right in the crosshairs.

The Celestron Polar Axis Finder can also be used in the Southern Hemisphere. Four stars of the constellation Octans are etched in the reticle. Adjust your telescope until those stars line up as shown on the reticle.

Thanks to the combination of innovative infrared technology and the latest electrochemical Draeger XXS miniature sensors, this 1-to-6 gas detector reliably detects explosive, combustible and harmful concentrations of O₂, Cl₂, CO, CO₂, H₂, H₂S, HCN, NH₃, NO, NO₂, PH₃, SO₂, O₃, Amine, Odorant, COCl₂ and organic vapors. Suitable for Ex-Zone 0

The small and reliable gas detector is suitable for use in areas classified as zone 0, which are areas where explosive atmospheres are always to be expected.

Area monitoring

In combination with the Draeger X-zone 5500 the gas detector can be used for various area monitoring applications. Up to 25 Draeger X-zone 5500 units can be automatically interconnected to form a wireless fenceline. This interconnection of the area monitoring devices allows for the fast securing of larger areas, e.g. pipelines or industrial tanks—even within the scope of industrial shutdowns.
