The PS200 is a rugged, easy to use portable multi-gas detector ideal for use in confined spaces and hotworks. Both lightweight and durable the instrument monitors and displays up to four hazardous gas conditions simultaneously using catalytic bead sensor technology for a wide range of combustible gases, and electrochemical sensors for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen deficiency. Operator interface and calibration are intuitive and easy by toggling between simple one-button functions. During hazardous conditions users are alerted via three alarm functions: vibration, red flashing LEDs, and audible buzzer. To ensure the highest level of personal safety, the PS200 is also fitted with an optional man down/motion sensor that activates alarms if the instrument is not moved at a pre-set time. The instrument is also fitted with an optional built in remote sampling pump making it ideal for use in confined spaces. The PS200 features a screen backlight that can be manually switched on in poor lighting conditions. Additional features include: customized user identification code setup, calibration due date display, and standard data logging that can be downloaded to a docking station via USB connection to a computer. Also available is a auto bump and cal station, 5-way charger and PC data logging software.

The GX-3R Pro is the world's smallest 5-gas monitor weighing only 4.58 ounces and fits in the palm of your hand (2.9" W x 2.6" H x 1.06" D). It simultaneously monitors and displays 5 different gases. In addition to monitoring standard confined space gases, LEL, O₂, CO, & H₂S, the GX-3R Pro has a 5th channel where you can add infrared or toxic sensors. Two of the four sensor slots have interchangeable sensors providing flexible configurations, which can easily be changed in the field.

The GX-3R Pro comes equipped with Bluetooth wireless communication, man-down alarm, the choice of alkaline or rechargeable power supply, and a 3 year warranty. The Lithium-ion battery pack will operate for 25 hours and will fully charge in 3 hours.

The GX-3R Pro utilizes Bluetooth communication to display direct gas readings from the instrument to a phone app, which is available free on either iOS or Android phones. Automatic notifications can be programmed to send text or email messages, if there is an alarm event from the GX-3R Pro.

Safety supervisors will appreciate the non-compliance indicator. The instrument flashes it's 3 LED lights every 30 seconds in the following conditions; if the instrument has not been bump tested, or if calibration is due, or if there was a gas alarm event. The 3 LED lights will continue to flash once every 30 seconds until the non-compliance condition has been resolved. The 30 second interval is adjustable.

Continuing in its legacy of durable and reliable gas detection and monitoring systems, RKI Instruments is proud to offer a new product in its popular Eagle portable gas detector series. The Eagle 2 can monitor up to 6 different gases and is equipped with several exclusive features that can only be found with the Eagle series. In addition, its large glove friendly push buttons and LCD screen ensure an ease of use when onsite. Specialty Sensors

The Eagle 2 has a variety of available specialty sensors. Workers can use a photoionization detector for low or high range VOC detection and Fence Electrode Technology for humidity and contamination resistance. An infrared sensor is available for Co2, % LEL CH4, % Volume CH4, % LEL HC, and % Volume HC. Thermal conductivity sensors are available for % Volume H2 and % Volume CH4. Exclusive Features

The monitor has a long internal pump that can draw samples for up to 125 feet. The pump features a low flow auto shut off and alarm. This allows operators to respond swiftly from a safe distance. The unit is multilingual with 5 different language preferences, and features an alkaline battery life of 18 hours or a NiMH life of 20 hours. To protect the integrity of the device and the configurations, the unit can be password protected. The Eagle 2 also has standard data logging capabilities for easy research, evaluation, and site monitoring. To reduce calibration costs and time, the unit features an automatic calibration option and a single gas calibration option.

The Eagle 2 is heavily protected from environmental conditions by a weather proof, chemical resistant RFI/EMI coated high impact polycarbonate/PBT blend enclosure. The enclosure also renders the unit water and dust resistant. Because of the enclosure, the Eagle 2 can function in 2 inches of water without leakage.

The complete system is Lithium-Ion battery-operated using the latest technology for long mission times and this means that the system is lightweight and highly portable - and very economic to use. As usual with Troglotech products, the system is highly robust with the crawler being machined from solid brass and stainless steel.

With a range of quick-release wheel sets (the wheel bolts are locked into position for security) you can survey the full range of pipe sizes from 4" (100mm). The crawler is steerable and has a reversing camera and lights so that a survey can be performed in either direction.

The batteries on the crawler have a long mission time (up to a full days inpection work) are quick-release and can be charged on-site or via a mains supply.

Our systems are all battery operated so there are no dangerous voltages or generators required. We use the latest battery technology to provide a full days work from two crawler batteries and a single charge of the control unit battery.

why battery power?

On most crawler systems up to 90% of the power is lost in the main cable. The cable can be increased in size with more copper to reduce the loss - but then the crawler needs to be bigger and heavier. In addition the cable voltage is often at lethal levels.

We have produced a crawler that carries its own power source meaning that the main cable does not conduct any power allowing it to be much lighter. The composition of our cable is mainly Kevlar and the three small conductors only carry signals at safe voltages below 5V.

Troglotech's designers worked on the early, bulky crawler systems at Pearpoint from the 80's to the 00's. These were huge systems that required generators, cranes, custom-built vans and needed a team to operate. Troglotech decided that this was completely the wrong method to provide what is essentially a video camera for inspecting pipelines

To this end, Troglotech designed a crawler that carried its own power supply using in custom-designed Lithium-Ion batteries. This removed the need for the heavy support equipment.
