You can rely on the Draeger Pac 6500: the personal single-gas detection device warns against hazardous concentrations of carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfide dioxide or oxygen with precision and reliability.

Powerful sensors with a very low t-90 response time ensure quick reactions. The Pac 6500 is versatile thanks to its wide measurement range. For example, the CO sensor measures concentrations from 1 to 1,999 ppm, and the H₂S sensor from 0.4 to 100 ppm.

Easy handling thanks to clear user guidance

The D-Light indicates whether functionality of the device has been tested and whether it is ready to use. The housing is also designed with your safety in mind: each sensor variant of the Draeger Pac 6500 features clearly visible color coding, thereby minimizing the chance of mistakes.

Robust design – even for the toughest conditions

The Pac 6500 is easily handled in even extreme conditions. Depending on the sensor, temperatures from -40 °C to 55 °C and air pressures between 700 and 1,300 mbar can be tolerated.

A membrane filter protects the sensor from foreign matter such as dust and liquids. The shock-proof, chemical-resistant housing meets the requirements specified in the IP68 standard rating.

User-friendly display with all important information

The large display clearly indicates the respective gas concentration. Other important information, such as the battery capacity, is also displayed. The bright backlighting ensures that all values are clearly legible in the dark.

360° alarm with various functions

If the Draeger Pac 6500 measures hazardous gas concentrations, it sets off an audible, visual and perceptible vibrating alarm. Two bright, flashing LEDs on the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is easily visible from all sides. The acoustic signal reaches a volume of 90 dB. The display can show the peak concentration measured at any given moment. Earlier alarms registered can also be retrieved at a later time, even if they have been acknowledged.

The Pac 6500 with oxygen sensor has two additional alarm thresholds in addition to the standard alarm threshold settings. This provides an additional level of safety as a pre-alarm, in addition to the main alarm, can be set for both oxygen enriched and oxygen deficient atmospheres.

Data logger and event logger for analyses and reports

The Draeger Pac 6500 logs concentrations and events along with the date and time. The data can be loaded on a PC via an interface and processed further there.

Economical operating costs

All versions of the Pac 6500 are equipped with extremely durable DraegerSensors and a powerful battery.

The Pac 6500 is protected against water, dust and other foreign bodies by a special membrane filter. When the filter becomes heavily soiled in use, you can quickly and easily replace it yourself. The device is then ready to use again right away.

Fast function test saves time and money

Function tests and calibrations can be carried in the Draeger X-dock® calibration station. The automatic bump tests in the X-dock are a cost-efficient and convenient solution thanks to the short test duration and the extremely low consumption of test gas. The Pac 6500 is simply placed in the bump test station and automatically selects the correct setting.

The Eagle One to Six Gas Portable Monitor is available with a wide variety of exclusive features. The Smartphone Adapter DX Kit is a great first step into the world of astroimaging or digiscoping. You get everything you need to capture sharp, detailed images and video: the smartphone adapter and a Bluetooth shutter release remote. Snap an Instagram-worthy image of the Moon, share your latest wildlife sightings with a binocular or spotting scope, or preserve lab specimens from your microscope—this versatile adapter handles it all with ease.

The Smartphone Adapter fits any eyepiece from 29mm to 45mm in diameter, including telescopes equipped with 1.25" eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars, and binoculars.

The Smartphone Adapter DX Kit accommodates a wide range of smartphones. The phone platform adjusts and can fit any device—usually with the case still on. The secure platform stands up to the weight thanks to the adapter's strong threaded knobs to secure the adapter in place.

No matter which optic you choose, installing and using the adapter is hassle-free. First, place your phone in the adapter. It's held securely in position with the help of a tightening knob that locks your phone in place. Next, align the phone's camera with the center of the eyepiece. Once you've determined the perfect position, tighten the adjustment knob for a secure fit.

Note: Some large and/or bulky phone cases (including folio style cases) may need to be removed for the phone to fit in the adapter.

Once the phone is mounted over the eyepiece, you can capture still images or video, plus access all the rest of your phone's features. You can even text your photos to a friend or post them on social media while your phone is still mounted in the adapter.

To determine if your optic is compatible with the Smartphone Adapter, simply measure the outside diameter of your eyepiece. If it falls within the 29mm to 45mm range, you may use it with this adapter. The adapter does not work with riflescopes.

Not all gases can be monitored directly at the measuring point. This may be because the maintenance of a remote sensor would be too complicated or because the target gas has to be broken down into detectable components first. This can be done using a pyrolyzer.

The RKI direct connect series gas sensors are highly reliable and very cost effective for the detection of common gas hazards. The direct connect series are available for LEL, Oxygen, H2S, and CO for a variety of RKI's controllers. All sensors are explosion-proof with flame arrestors, and approved for use in hazardous locations.

The tri-sensor head can be used either indoors or outdoors. The flame arrestors for the explosion-proof versions utilize a patented coating which make them water repellent. Also, splash guards are available for use in very wet environments.

The unique tri-sensor design integrates 3 sensors into one explosion proof housing. This results in significant savings with installation and wiring cost versus traditional single sensor enclosures. Only one conduit needs to be run to the sensors.

The tri-sensor head is designed to exclusively interface with the RKI Beacon 410 controller. This 3 sensor head, used with the Beacon 410, is especially well suited for wastewater applications.
