TDS1000/G Conductivity Solution, 1000ppm/1417uS, 1 Gal. by Sensorex

TDS/Conductivity instruments and sensors must be calibrated together. For a single-point calibration, select the one solution that approximates the expected conductivity or ppm level of total salts. Mixed Salt standards are the most frequently used in the field to sample naturally occurring water sources, boiler feed water, or cooling tower water. Typical river water, well water, or lake water sample will contain a mixture of several different salts. Sensorex Mixed Salt standards simulate a "Natural" mixture of common salt compounds found in these sources. Sodium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chloride salts are blended to provide a representative value. There are certain applications where Single Salt Solutions are preferred. NaCl Solution is routinely used to calibrate instruments measuring Sea Water or brackish water samples. Reagent grade salt and high resistivity DI water is compounded for accurate results. KCI Single Salt Solution may be used with conductivity meters that read directly in Siemens or Ohms. KCI (potassium chloride) is established as an international calibration standard for conductivity measurement. Choose the conductivity calibration solution that is right for your application. 8328420 X-am 3500 Multi-Gas Detector, Basic by Draeger

The Draeger X-am® 3500 was especially designed for clearance measurements. The 1 to 4 gas detector reliably detects flammable gases and vapours as well as O₂, CO, H₂S, NO₂ and SO₂. The innovative signalling design and extensive range of accessories ensure optimum safety and easy handling.

Specially designed for use with a pump, optimised for clearance measurement

The Draeger X-am 3500 is equipped with a very powerful pump. It can be connected with hoses of up to 45 metres in length. A pump adapter makes it easy to switch between diffusion and pump mode at any time. This means the pump is only operated when you actually need it. That saves energy, reduces wear and tear, and thereby extends the lifespan of the pump.

The performance of selected sensors has been verified by an external approval body within the scope of the measurement performance approval (EN 60079-29-1), for combustible gases and vapours for methane, propane and n-nonane, among others.

Handy and durable, the Draeger X-am 3500 is intuitive to operate single-handedly using three function keys. The easy-to-read colour display clearly lays out all the information for you. Thanks to its compact and robust construction, the device can withstand even the harshest conditions.

Clear signalling design

The signal system of the Draeger X-am 3500 is based on a clear colour code, in accordance with the requirements of the EN 60079-29-1, EN 45544-1 and EN 50104:

• Red light = gas alarm
• Yellow light = device-related alarm, e.g. low battery
• Green light = device is ready for use

The green glow of the D-Light allows you to see from a distance whether the device has been properly tested and is ready for use.

In case of an alarm, the X-am 3500 alerts you with colourful alarm LEDs, a loud horn (100 dB(A) at a distance of 30 cm), and clearly palpable vibration. Optionally, four preset hazard symbols are available for the display which explicitly indicate the presence of explosive or toxic gas hazards, for example. This allows the user to easily recognise the type of hazard based purely on the symbol displayed.

Economical Fleet Management

Bumptest and calibration are carried out simply and quickly using the Draeger X-dock® calibrating station. Its low test gas consumption keeps operating costs to a minimum.

Its reporting function and numerous other useful features make the X-dock Manager PC software a smart addition to any fleet management operation. To identify the devices in the fleet, you can either use tried and tested barcodes or an integrated RFID transponder.

Inductive charging protects against wear and tear

The X-am 3500 features inductive charging. This makes it easier to operate and increases the lifespan of the device. Issues like corrosion and contact problems in the charging cradle are a thing of the past. You can charge (outside of explosion-hazard zones) and measure at once, e.g, when in use inside vehicles or on machinery. The charging cradle can connect with one another, taking up minimal space, and are compatible with existing Draeger X-am® series cradles.

• Wireless Charging: In dirty and harsh environments that gas detectors are often used in many charging connectors become damaged. SST4 Pump has been designed with induction charging allowing for simple and quick charging with no risk of cables and ports becoming damaged and failing. A complete charge cycle takes 5-6 hours. Different charging accessories are available within the portfolio.
• Run Time: The runtime is very important for confined space monitors, as traditional devices with a pumped unit draw a lot of power and struggle to last an entire shift. Based on an 8-hour working day, we designed the SST4 Pump device to run for six working days with the low power catalytic sensor and 12 working days with the infrared sensor. This will allow for more uptime doing permits for confined space entry rather than downtime charging devices.
• Ergonomic Design: The ergonomic design of a handheld device is essential as these devices can be used over a long shift. The slim design and considered weight distribution ensure that the device will sit in the hand and not cause fatigue during a shift. The SST4 Pump can also be worn as a diffusion device. The hose has a bottom connection. The industrial-strength alligator clip makes wearing easy.
• Accessories: Confined spaces take many different forms, and because of this, we have designed several probes, ball floats, and tubing solutions. Conventional solutions must often be designed with the user and application in mind. Our solutions range from sampling ceilings to taking samples in liquid tanks. Also, look at our other accessories for charging, better-wearing solutions, or filtering.
