The UNI 321 is a disposable or maintenance-free version of UNI single gas detector. It detects hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) or carbon monoxide (CO) in a selection of models with operating lives of 24 months (MP102) or 36 months (MP103). The detectors have large LCDs providing maximum readability in the field. Six bright red LEDs allow for quick alarm notification. Constructed of strong and durable material, the UNI 321 is designed to be comfortable, yet drop-resistant. The UNI detectors can easily be bump tested and calibrated using the CaliCase System.

Sensors for special gases

The Draeger Pac 8000 performs especially well when detecting a variety of special gases. The Pac 8000 can be fitted with sensors for carbon dioxide (CO₂), chlorine gas (Cl₂), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), ammonia (NH₃), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), phosphine (PH₃) and organic vapors (OV or OV-A).

Further demonstrating the capabilites of Draeger gas detectors is that the Draeger Pac 8000 performs especially well when detecting other gases as well. It can detect ozone (O₃) from concentrations as low as 0.02 ppm and phosgene (COCl₂) from 0.01 ppm. The Pac 8000 detects nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) from concentrations as low as 0.04 ppm.

Robust design – even for the toughest conditions

The Pac 8000 can easily handle even extreme conditions. The sensors can tolerate air pressures between 700 and 1,300 mbar. A membrane filter protects the sensor from foreign matter such as dust and liquids. The shock-proof, chemical-resistant housing meets the requirements specified by the IP68 standard rating.

Easy handling thanks to clear user guidance

The D-Light indicates whether the functionality of the device has been tested and that it is ready to use. The housing is also designed with your safety in mind: each sensor variant of the Draeger Pac 8000 features clear, easily visible color coding, thereby minimizing the chance of mistakes.

User-friendly display with all important information

The large display clearly indicates the respective gas concentration. Other important information, such as the unit of concentration and battery capacity, is also displayed. The bright backlighting ensures that all values can be clearly read in the dark.

If the Draeger Pac 8000 measures hazardous gas concentrations, it sets off an audible, visual and noticeable vibrating alarm. Two bright, flashing LEDs on the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is easily visible from all sides. The acoustic signal reaches a volume of 90 dB. The display can show the peak concentration measured at any given moment. Earlier alarms registered can also be retrieved at a later time, even if acknowledged.

Data logger and event logger for analyses and reports

The Pac 8000 logs concentrations and events along with date and time. The data can be downloaded to a PC via an interface and processed further there.

The Pac 8000 is protected against water, dust and other foreign bodies by a special membrane filter. When the filter becomes heavily soiled in use, you can quickly and easily replace it yourself. The device is then ready to use again in no time.

Function tests and calibrations can be carried out especially efficiently in the Draeger X-dock® calibration station. The automatic bump tests in the X-dock are a cost-efficient and convenient solution thanks to short test duration and the extremely low test gas consumption. The GD-K71D is a complete sample drawing gas monitor, including digital readout and alarm relays. A new gas sensor technology using an intelligent sensor for remote location calibration and setup is used. The new GD-K71D sensors are designed to provide a longer time period between calibrations. Calibration intervals have been extended to12 months of on-line service which equates to reduced maintenance cost. In addition, the sensors can be calibrated away from the gas detector installation, for example in a service area or off site. This eliminates the inconvenience of having calibration gases in the fab or monitoring location. GD-K71D easily connects to an existing PLC system and is ideal for applications needing a local readout or where a relay control is needed. The automatic zero correction software provides excellent long term stability and minimizes false alarms due to zero drift.

TDS/Conductivity instruments and sensors must be calibrated together. For a single-point calibration, select the one solution that approximates the expected conductivity or ppm level of total salts. Mixed Salt standards are the most frequently used in the field to sample naturally occurring water sources, boiler feed water, or cooling tower water. Typical river water, well water, or lake water sample will contain a mixture of several different salts. Sensorex Mixed Salt standards simulate a "Natural" mixture of common salt compounds found in these sources. Sodium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chloride salts are blended to provide a representative value. There are certain applications where Single Salt Solutions are preferred. NaCl Solution is routinely used to calibrate instruments measuring Sea Water or brackish water samples. Reagent grade salt and high resistivity DI water is compounded for accurate results. KCI Single Salt Solution may be used with conductivity meters that read directly in Siemens or Ohms. The EC 30 is an advanced transmitter for the detection of toxic gases and oxygen levels. This smart area monitor has an aluminum explosion proof housing with a stainless steel sensor cover that makes the EC 30 series suitable for the harshest environments.

Once you power up the units, they will accurately display values on the large LCD and transmit a linear 4-20 mA signal to any GfG controller.
