The IAM-100 Gas Monitor from Bacharach offers exceptional continuos monitoring performance and flexibility at an economical price. By itself, or integrated into a comprehensive detection system, the IAM-100 is a scalable solution for detecting a variety of refrigerants, combustible gases and VOC gas leaks at the lowest possible cost.

Onboard LEDs illuminate when the sensor is in an alarm state while the unit's audible alarm alerts personnel in the area that levels have exceeded the desired limit. The audible alarm can be muted with the onboard silence switch. Integrated dual relays enable the IAM-100 to shut-off refrigerant or propane supply lines while the second relay can be used as a connection to a building BMS or BAS system.

The IAM-100 is an alarm threshold device. When the range of the sensor is exceeded, the detector will go into alarm. For example, a unit with a 1,000 ppm R-410a sensor will activate its alarm when the detected refrigerant meets or exceeds 1,000 ppm.

High-resolution, full-color display

The 2.4, 320 x 240 pixel full-color TFT display sets new standards for gas detectors. It provides clear and precise information about the current measured values, the short-term and long-term exposure, as well as any malfunctions that may have occurred. Information can be displayed in a variety of languages and scripts, including English, German and Simplified Chinese.

Clear Information

No longer will you have to decipher cryptic error codes – information on any issue is instead displayed in plain text. Status LEDs provide an additional instant overview of vital components of the system.

Intuitive device management using Bluetooth and app

Settings on the D-ReX can easily be managed using the configuration program or the GfG app (Android). They can be connected to the device either via RJ45 an interface or Bluetooth. This will give you access to all settings and configuration options. After entering the password, changes can also be made using the control keys in the D-ReX's service menu.

Advanced connectivity

The D-ReX comes with a wide variety of communication interfaces: Choose between analog, industry standard 4-20 mA, digital RS-485 interface (Modbus/RTU), Ethernet (Modbus/TCP) and LonWorks (optional) for signal transmission. The Bluetooth option enables wireless connectivity. In addition to the five internal, programmable changeover contact relays (optional), 16 additional relays can be addressed by connecting the D-ReX to a GMA200-RT/D relay module.

Periodic sensor self-tests

The plug-and-play smart sensor cartridges are pre-configured and pre-calibrated for easy installation or replacement. Automatic sensor self-tests increase safety while reducing maintenance costs even further.

OSHA defines the breathing zone as a ten inch radius around the worker's nose and mouth, and requires that worker exposure monitoring air samples be collected in the breathing zone. Air sampling filters may be attached to the collar or lapel. Traditionally this means only a single gas monitor would be small enough for a worker to practically wear a gas monitor 'In the breathing zone'. Now there is a 4 gas monitor smaller than many single gas monitors.

The GX-3R is the worlds smallest 4 gas monitor weighing only 3.52 ounces and can comfortably be clipped within a worker's breathing zone (2.2" W x 2.55" H x 1.02" D). It simultaneously monitors and displays LEL combustibles, O₂, CO (Hydrogen compensated CO also available), and H₂S.

The GX-3R represents the latest evolution of gas detection technology utilizing a new generation of micro sensors. The LEL sensor has a unique design with two active filaments in one sensor to increase it's resistance to silicone poisoning. If one filament gets poisoned the second filament takes over. The new O₂ sensor is electrochemical with a 3 to 5 year life span. H₂S and CO are now available in a combo micro sensor.

Safety supervisors will appreciate the non-compliance indicator. The instrument flashes it's 3 LED lights every 30 seconds in the following conditions; if the instrument has not been bump tested, or if calibration is due, or if there was a gas alarm event. The 3 LED lights will continue to flash once every 30 seconds until the non-compliance condition has been resolved. The 30 second interval is adjustable.

Specialty Sensors

The Eagle 2 has a variety of available specialty sensors. The monitor has a long internal pump that can draw samples for up to 125 feet. The pump features a low flow auto shut off and alarm. This allows operators to respond swiftly from a safe distance. The unit is multilingual with 5 different language preferences, and features an alkaline battery life of 18 hours or a NiMH life of 20 hours. To protect the integrity of the device and the configurations, the unit can be password protected. The Eagle 2 also has standard data logging capabilities for easy research, evaluation, and site monitoring. To reduce calibration costs and time, the unit features an automatic calibration option and a single gas calibration option.

The Eagle 2 is heavily protected from environmental conditions by a weather proof, chemical resistant RFI/EMI coated high impact polycarbonate/PBT blend enclosure. The enclosure also renders the unit water and dust resistant. Because of the enclosure, the Eagle 2 can function in 2 inches of water without leakage.
