390 TDS/Salt Meter by Test Products International

Measure Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), salt and temperature for food, water quality and HVAC maintenance. Easy-to-read LCD display. Measures temperature, TDS concentration and salt levels in solutions.

The AC Volt 50 is a hand held device for determining the presence or absence of AC voltage in insulated wires, wall receptacles, fuses, junction boxes, switches, and any other voltage carrying electrical system. It is not necessary to disconnect the system in question because no contact is required for operation and current flow is not necessary to locate voltage. Simply touch the plastic tip to a connection point or move it along an insulated wire. If AC voltage is present, The AC Volt 50 will sound an audio alert and an LED light in the probe tip will glow bright red. The illumination will stop at a break in the circuit or wire, and this allows the AC sensor to be used as a troubleshooting instrument.

Applications

• Water: Test TDS levels to determine purity
• Food: Test the amount of salt in food, seafood, or processed foods
• Health: Monitor the amount of salt intake
• Water Filtration: Test for TDS to determine performance level of filtration systems
• Pools & Spas: Monitor TDS levels to prevent maintenance problems
• HVAC: Test condensate water in cooling tower and humidifier reservoir applications to prevent bacterial growth
• HVAC: Test TDS levels in make-up water to prevent scale formation, corrosion, and embrittlement
• HVAC: Reduce water and chemical consump tion in boilers and cooling towers
• HVAC: Determine when to perform blowdown and add make-up water
• HVAC: Prevent contamina tion and corrosion of control valves, heat exchangers, and steam traps
• HVAC: Verify automated TDS contollers are functioning properly
• HVAC: Prevent low quality wet steam generation in boilers due to foaming caused by high TDS levels

0699 6446/1 6446 Compressed Air Meter by Testo

The compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444 are designed for the measurement, monitoring and recording of compressed air consumption, and therefore also for the determination of leakages in compressed air systems, consumption-based allocation of costs and the implementation of peak load management. The compressed air counters testo 6441 to testo 6444 record norm volume flow according to the calorimetric principle, which means the measurement procedure is independent of the process pressure and does not cause a permanent pressure drop.

The version testo 6447 offers everything the testo 6446 provides, in addition the removal of the probe under pressure is possible (patented screw fitting). The larger nominal values refer especially to important compressed air pipelines, often the main supply line after preparation.

• Measurement of norm volume flow in the measuring range 6.7 to 27500 m³/h (DN65 to DN350 or 21/2"-10")
• Exchangeable fitting: Probe removal under pressure possible (testo 6447 only)
• Material selectable between galvanized steel and stainless steel
• Highest flexibility thanks to different signal outputs: Analog output 4 to 20 mA (4-wire), Pulse output, 2 switch outputs (parameterizable: consumption or volume flow-dependent, opener, closer, hysteresis, window)
• Built-in totalizer, even without additional analysis unit
• Operating menu with LED display
• Cleanable sensor

94112-A 1.25" Erect Image 45° Diagonal by Celestron

Did you know that most telescopes work well for daytime viewing as well as for astronomy? If you have a refractor or a catadioptric telescope (the Schmidt-Cassegrain is the most popular example), and you would like to use it for terrestrial observations, the most useful additional accessory you can buy is an erect-image diagonal.

If you look through your telescope with the standard mirror or star diagonal installed, you will notice that objects may be either upside down, flipped so that you see a mirror image, or a combination of the two. This is fine for observations of celestial objects, but it can be a little confusing when you are trying to track a boat as it moves through the water, or an eagle as he flies towards his perch.

Luckily, this is an easy problem to correct. Simply remove the standard diagonal from the telescope's focuser or visual back, and install the Celestron 45° Erect Image Diagonal. Now, when you insert an eyepiece, objects will be right side up and left-to-right correct. The 45° angle of this Amici prism diagonal is very comfortable for daytime observations, where the telescope is often in a horizontal position.

Please Note: Adding an erect-image diagonal to a Newtonian reflector will not result in images that are right side up and left-to-right correct. The optical design of a Newtonian will always produce images that are rotationally off in orientation. This does not mean that you can't use a Newtonian reflector during the day, it just means that you have to get used to objects oriented in unrealistic positions.

• A great accessory for daytime terrestrial viewing with your telescope.
• This 1.25" diagonal produces right side up and left-to-right correct images when used with refractors and catadioptric (Schmidt-Cassegrain) telescopes.
• Inserts into 1.25" focusers or visual backs. Accepts standard 1.25" eyepieces.
