The EC 22 is equipped with high quality GfG sensors. The transmitters are fitted with high-performance electronics for voltage stabilization, processing of readings, and temperature compensation. Follow up costs are minimized thanks to the long lifespan of the sensors.

Universal signal transmission

Either an analog or digital output signal can be transmitted by the EC 22 by means of a Modbus interface. Due to the different types of signal transmission, a transmitter from the 22 series can be connected to almost any gas detecting system, also as a supplementary or replacement transmitter on existing systems.

Signal processing

The embedded software of the EC 22 linearizes the measuring signal and compensates for the effects of temperature. As a result, correct readings are transmitted even with weather related fluctuations in temperature. In addition, the transmitter also offers the option of transmitting service, maintenance, and error messages to a connected gas measuring computer.

Weather protection

A weatherproof housing not only protects transmitters against exposure to wind and weather, but also against contamination and excessive temperatures caused by direct sunlight.

Optional colored graphic display and horn

The clear graphic display of the EC 22 is self explanatory and allows you to read the current status and other important information with ease. The display enables you to navigate effortlessly through the unit s concise menu and to change settings or even calibrate, depending on your user authorization. In the event of an alarm the display changes color from green to red. Two LEDs indicate the status.

Operation buttons

The buttons on the transmitter allow the unit to be calibrated and settings to be adjusted through the menu as needed.

The Sensepoint range of flammable, toxic and Oxygen gas detectors offers users a cost-effective solution to their gas monitoring needs, in or out of doors and even in potentially explosive atmospheres. Supplied with a pre-wired junction box, this detector can be installed using conduit or armoured cable and glands depending on the specific needs of the application.

Sensepoint flammable and toxic gas detectors are designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, and allow for easy access to terminals via the hinged lid of the junction box. Installation should follow national guidelines using suitably approved armoured cable and glands or conduit.
