Simple to use

• Gasmonitor Plus offers flexibility whilst still providing simple operation. All the day to day functions are accessible via push buttons on the front panel.
• As well as a rolling display, indicating the channel currently monitored, each channel has a bar graph display. This unique bar graph format is ranged to indicate readings below the first alarm setting, providing an instantaneous representation of the gas concentration on every detector.
• Common alarm LEDs on the display card and individual alarms on the panel only light when a hazard or fault is detected. This means the whole rack status can be checked at a glance.

Flexible architecture

• Each channel has three levels of alarm as well as a dedicated analogue output, set as 4-20 mA as standard.
• Optional relay modules can interface to the panel to provide up to a total of 84 output relays per rack. Sixteen of these relays can be configured/voted from a combination of the three levels of alarm per channel.
• The RS232 digital interface provides connectivity with PC for configuration, monitoring and datalog upload. Each rack is uniquely addressable, making multi-drop architectures possible. This cuts down on configuration and monitoring cabling.

Easy maintenance

• Gasmonitor Plus has been designed with easy servicing and maintenance in mind.
• Each channel is inhibited separately so that plant safety is not compromised during maintenance checks.
• Routine calibration can be achieved from the front panel. The one man calibration feature reduces the service overhead by half.
• One universal gas card architecture controls all gas detectors. This reduces the spares holding required for Gasmonitor Plus maintenance. Each control card is fitted with its own dedicated micro-controller so it can function independently in the event of a single point failure.

Specifications

The Gasman single gas monitor is lightweight and compact, weighing less than 135 grams and with dimensions of 90 x 48 x 24 mm. Onboard LEDs illuminate when the sensor is in an alarm state while the unit's audible alarm alerts personnel in the area that levels have exceeded the desired limit. The audible alarm can be muted with the onboard silence switch. Integrated dual relays enable the IAM-100 to shut-off refrigerant or propane supply lines while the second relay can be used as a connection to a building BMS or BAS system.

The GX-2001 is the smallest 4-gas monitor in the world and now it is available with a compact battery operated sample-drawing pump that attaches in line for remote, portable monitoring. Together the model RP-6 sample drawing pump and the GX-2001 make a complete solution for confined space entry situations.

The RP-6 pump is housed in a rugged plastic case with quick connect fittings located on both ends of the unit. It is sold with either a 4 rubber nipple or with a 10' hose and probe. When buying the RP-6 with the 10' hose and probe, the probe is equipped with a dust filter and the 10' hose connects at the RP-6's quick connect inlet fitting. The inlet fitting of the RP-6 then connects to a removable clear plastic cup, which is a filter holder. This filter holder contains a dust and hydrophobic filter inside. The exhaust fitting of the RP-6, which is also a quick connect, connects to a coiled hose, which brings the sample to the GX-2001. The RP-6 will run for 5 hours from just 1 AA alkaline battery.

A rotating, ON/OFF switch is located near the inlet end of the RP-6. When the ON/OFF switch is on, the green power LED is illuminated. If a low flow condition occurs, the RP-6 will go into low flow alarm with a red flashing LED. For additional versatility, the RP-6 is also available for use with our model GX-94 portable gas monitor.

The compact instrument with built-in humidity probe head for measuring air moisture and temperature. The large 2 line display shows humidity, wet bulb temperature or dewpoint as well as temperature. When measuring at hard-to-access points, the humidity probe head can be easily removed and attached to the handle via the probe cable (accessory). Alternatively, the readings can be transmitted wirelessly over wide distances from the probe to the measuring instrument. To do this, the humidity probe head is attached to the radio handle (accessory) and the radio module (accessory) is added to testo 625.
