The fixed point gas detector offers a wide range of sensors for to suite almost all applications. The Xgard range of gas detectors is available in three models to meet varying worksite needs: flameproof, intrinsically safe, and safe area formats. With quick and easy installation and maintenance, the Xgard series is able to keep costs at a minimum. The replacement sensors, for example, are simple to replace by merely plugging them in. The replacement parts are also readily available and compatible with all Xgard models, thereby reducing the amount of required spare parts that are stored in the facility. Additionally, the sensors have two times the typical life spans of similar sensors in the industry. With a 2 year life span, worksites can expect to cut their sensor replacement costs in half. For worksites that require slightly more customization, Crowcon offers compatible accessories for the Xgard series such as sampling applications, remote gassing applications, spray deflectors, sun shields, weatherproof caps, collector cones, flow adapter, and accessories adapter.

Xgard also has flexible installation options. The unit is designed for either wall or ceiling mounts, and users will not need to purchase additional equipment for mounting. For more complex installation needs, users can purchase accessories.
