Labels are made up of a series of temperature-sensitive elements sealed between heat-resistant substrates with transparent windows. Each element changes color distinctly as its rated temperature is met or exceeded. The changes to the label are irreversible, providing a temperature history of the surface being monitored. The labels will not delaminate when removed, allowing them to be attached to an inspection report to serve as a permanent record. Ideal for use in the food, automotive, molding and metal working industries. Accuracy is ±1.8°F below 212°F and ±1°F above 212°F. Shelf life: 1 year after date of purchase.

TDS/Conductivity instruments and sensors must be calibrated together. For a single-point calibration, select the one solution that approximates the expected conductivity or ppm level of total salts. Mixed Salt standards are the most frequently used in the field to sample naturally occurring water sources, boiler feed water, or cooling tower water. Typical river water, well water, or lake water sample will contain a mixture of several different salts. Sensorex Mixed Salt standards simulate a "Natural" mixture of common salt compounds found in these sources. Sodium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate, and sodium chloride salts are blended to provide a representative value. There are certain applications where Single Salt Solutions are preferred. NaCl Solution is routinely used to calibrate instruments measuring Sea Water or brackish water samples. Reagent grade salt and high resistivity DI water is compounded for accurate results. KCI Single Salt Solution may be used with conductivity meters that read directly in Siemens or Ohms. KCI (potassium chloride) is established as an international calibration standard for conductivity measurement. Choose the conductivity calibration solution that is right for your application. A dipslide is a means of testing the microbial content of liquids or surfaces. It contains a sterile culture medium which can be dipped into liquid or pressed on to the surface to collect a sample. It is then incubated for 48 hours to allow microbial growth. The dipslides microbial count is then estimated by reference to an appropriate chart, which is provided with each box. If the treatment program is effective the dipslide count will be consistently low. If a high result is obtained the test should be repeated and the treatment program or disinfection process checked.

Dipslides are supplied in boxes of 10 and come with instructions to determine the activity of aerobic & anaerobic bacteria.
