The IR 22 transmitter combines the proven infrared measurement method to detect carbon dioxide or combustible gases (HC) with the innovative technique of the new 22 series transmitters. This new GfG transmit- ter generation has been developed and manufactured according to SIL standards.

The comprehensive user menu and the versatile setting options make this transmitter series quite flexible and adaptable to all individual requirements. Precise measurement results at various environmental conditions, as well as the large dynamic measurement range of a few ppm up to 5 % volume CO₂ or 100% LEL.

Features

The Eagle One to Six Gas Portable Monitor is available with a wide variety of exclusive features. The unit is capable of PPM/LEL hydrocarbon detection and for environmental use, has a methane elimination switch. The dual hydrophobic filters (available on some models) ensure quality control. To preserve the integrity and safety of the device, the portable monitor also has an adjustment lockout switch to prevent tampering. For quick and easy testing, the monitor offers autocalibration and single gas calibration.

To fit every environment, there are three versions available. All versions include three electrochemical and one infrared sensor. Depending on the version, the G999 features a catalytic combustion (CC) sensor, a combined CC/semiconductor sensor, a PID sensor or a fourth electrochemical sensor. This allows a variety of gas combinations or measuring ranges to be defined and simultaneously monitored.

G888 – The Perfect Match

It is not always necessary to equip every employee with a gas detector including a pump for safe measurement of confined spaces, but everyone should have a modern multi-gas detector. In such situations the Microtector III G888 is recommended. Like the G999, it offers optimum individual protection for all those who have to work in hazardous areas and/or enclosed spaces.

The 4100 one-channel and the 4-channel 4400 gas warning systems offer safe and reliable gas detection.

Alarm points

Each alarm can be adjusted separately. False alarms are eliminated with the adjustable alarm delay. The alarm point values can be freely adjusted within the detection range of the transmitter. Every alarm point value can be selected to be latching / non-latching or resettable / non resettable.

Alarm relays

The controller provides four voltage-free relays for the three alarms in addition to one fault warning. The relays may be used to control additional alarm devices like lights or horns. They can even prompt specific counter measures to prevent or limit dangers from gases or vapors.
