Robust housing for every application

The transmitters of the 33 series are flameproof encapsulated and fulfill the requirements of the type of protection "d". Depending on the application, you can choose the 33 transmitter with an epoxy-based aluminum or a pure stainless steel housing. In order to meet the quality requirements of our customers and our own standards in terms of durability, we use a particularly high-quality and durable Viton seal in the 33 series. This can withstand even the toughest operating conditions for many years.

Variants

GfG offers the CC 33 in two variants:

For conventional industrial The CC 33 is available in a lacquered die-cast aluminum housing with 10mm thick bulletproof glass. Applications with special conditions such as e.g. in the Food industry can be covered by a unpainted housing made of stainless steel with a 15mm thick bulletproof glass.

Operation by means of magnetic pin

The three magnetic switches behind the protective glass, which is up to 15mm thick, can be operated using the GfG magnetic pin. The GfG typical three-button operation is easy to understand. The menu is clearly structured and logically structured.

All transmitters of the 22, 29 and 33 series have a uniform user interface. The uniform operation and the logical system structure keep your training and maintenance effort as low as possible.

Proven and innovative is not a contradiction

The CC 33 works on the principle of catalytic heat generation (WT), a proven method for measuring combustible gases. The transmitters are equipped with high-performance electronics for voltage stabilization, processing of measured value output and temperature compensation. The long life of the sensors minimizes follow-up costs.

Sensor technology

With improved sensor technology and the unique GfG "chimney effect", the CC 33 transmitter for combustible gases has one of the fastest response times in the world. There are more crucial seconds left to initiate countermeasures and to bring people to safety.

Universal signal transmission

The measured values and status displays of the 33 series can be transmitted either analog or digital via the Modbus interface. Due to the different variants of signal transmission, a transmitter of the 33 series can be connected to almost any gas warning system as an additional measuring point or in exchange for existing transducers.

Signal processing

The embedded software of the 33 transmitter linearises the measurement signal and compensates for temperature influences. As a result, correct measured values are transmitted even in the event of weather-related temperature fluctuations. The execution of the software enables the detection of faults and, in the Modbus variant, the requirement of required service or maintenance work.

Smart sensors

Pre-calibrated sensor modules can be screwed directly into the sensor receptacle on the housing of the CC 33. The smart GfG sensors are pre-programmed with all the necessary parameters and can be used without much effort ("plug and play"). Sensor changes are shown in the display. Three freely programmable internal relays

The 33er transmitters can be used as a "stand-alone system". You can set the two alarm thresholds individually and freely program the optional three relays. You do not need a cable to a controller and you can nevertheless reliably switch safety-related devices.

The clearly laid-out graphic display makes it easy to read the device status, the current measured value and many other important information. In the event of an alarm, the display turns red. The large LEDs signal from a distance the current device status and thus serve the rapid information of your employees about any alarms or malfunctions.

Using the display, you can easily navigate through the clear device menu and make various settings, including calibration, depending on your user authorization.

Calibration

For regular function control with gas application, a calibration adapter is placed on the transmitter to ensure a safe and even gas supply.

The 35-3001 series is a compact sample draw detector assembly with a built-in pump that is powered from 24VDC. This unit features a NEMA 4X enclosure, making it dust, water and corrosion resistant. The 5000 Series can control up to six individual gas transmitters (sensors) and it is possible to extend the GMA 200 controller with up to four relay modules resulting in up to 64 additional freely configurable relays. The clearly structured layout with graphical display enables the quick detection of hazardous situations. Currently measured values are displayed on the LCD graphical display.

GMA 200-MT Controller

The GMA 200-MT is at the heart of the 5000 Series and is the most flexible and advanced gas detection system controller. The design of the GMA 200-MT ensures simple and clearly structured operation in industrial and commercial applications. The system can be configured for control of any combination of GfG gas transmitters for the measurement of an extremely wide range of toxic and combustible gases and vapors.

Integrated relays

GMA 200-MT systems include comprehensive and fully programmable relays. Each controller is equipped with 8 internal relays. Menu-driven software allows easy assignment of measuring points to relays, single or multiple alarms per point, alarm thresholds, configuration of collective or group alarms, zoning, fault messages and voting functions.

Flexible modular design

Each GMA 200-MT module can control up to 6 individual gas transmitters (sensors). The compact DIN rail mounted design facilitates cost-effective and space-saving installation in existing or custom control cabinets. GMA 200-MT systems are scalable, and easy to expand by adding additional controller and relay modules. Optional gateway modules allow control via remote or touch-screen computer interface.

Easy to configure

Easy-to-use, menu driven GMA 200-MT software allows configuration of sensor type, gas type, measuring point designations, units of measurement, calibration curves, and function of the comprehensive and fully programmable relays. Up to three individual or specified alarm thresholds can be programmed for each measuring point. The GMA 200-MT continuously evaluates the analog input signals of the connected detectors.

Relay modules

Each GMA 200-RT relay module provides an additional 16 freely configurable relays. A total of four additional relay modules (for 64 additional relays) can be managed by the same GMA 200-MT system. Digital connection with the GMA 200-MT controller allows remote positioning of the relay module wherever it makes the most sense, substantially reducing cabling and installation costs. Relay modules are available with or without an integral display for readings and system information, making it easy to add a remote terminal wherever needed.

Optional Fieldbus-Gateways

Optional gateway modules allow integration of the GMA 200-MT system into existing company networks based on TCP/IP, Process Field Bus or Process Field Network protocols. Monitoring and system performance data are easily exported for viewing or analysis. A wifi interface can be added to the gateway to allow wireless connection with a touch screen Windows® computer or smart phone to display or access system information.

LED indicator lights

The status of the GMA 200-MT system (including operation, fault, service, alarm and relay status) is shown via LEDs. Individual LED indicators identify the type and severity of the alarm condition, (FLT, AL1, AL2, AL3), and any relays activated by the condition, (R1 through R8).

Graphical display

Currently measured values are displayed on a backlit, graphical LCD. In the event of an alarm the display changes color from green to red, and highlights the affected channels.

Operation via keyboard

Operation of the GMA 200-MT is through easy-to-use menus, and a simple 5 button interface for alarm acknowledgement, and viewing information on the status of the gas warning system, detectors and relays. The intuitive push-button controls make it easy to navigate through additional screens of information. The integrated display enables the reading of alarm levels through the controller LCD for easy hazard assessment.

Datalogging standard

Measured values, mean values, alarm events and faults are stored on a microSD memory card.

Configuration

A built-in USB port in the GMA 200-MT is used for connection to the configuration software.

The Beacon 410A is a highly configurable, microprocessor-based, flexible and easy to use 4 channel gas monitoring controller. It simultaneously displays the gas type, readings, and status for four channels of gas detection.
