Features

An accurate and reliable gas detection system is the most important safety instrument when working in mining, construction, fire and emergency services, confined spaces, and other potentially dangerous settings. The GasAlertClip Extreme is designed to withstand the harshest of environments and deliver consistently reliable alerts for up to 3 years. The durable outer casing protects the internal sensors from damage and renders the unit water resistant.

To ensure reliability and effectiveness, users can perform periodic self-tests of sensors, batteries, circuits, and alarms. The unit also performs a self-test upon activation and every 20 hours. Additionally, the battery is automatically tested every 2 hours to ensure the user can rely on the unit's warnings.

Maintenance free

The GasAlertClip Extreme also features maintenance free technology that is user friendly and easy to understand. The clip is available in both 2 year and 3 year versions. During the instrument's lifespan, the device will not require calibration tests, sensor replacement, batter replacement, or recharging of batteries. Users will find the GasAlertClip Extreme to be easy to use and with minimal training requirements. The various clips for different gases also feature color coded labels to distinguish between different gas detectors and LCD indicators. The GasAlertClip Extreme is compatible with a variety of test systems and accessories. The MicroDock II is a compatible automatic testing system. Hibernation and Extended Life

Simply activate hibernate mode by syncing the unit with the infrared link or inserting the unit in the Clip Dock docking station. Because the unit hibernates and becomes inactive users can extend the life of their battery and their unit.
