90550-81 Dampen Adjustable Angle Bimetal Thermometer 5" Dial 24" L Range 0-250F/-20-120C by Digi-Sense

Accuracy is ±1% full-scale when stem is immersed 2" in liquids or 4" in gases (immerse models with a 2.5" stem length 2" in gases). Measured stem length from the top of the threads to the bottom tip of the stem. Stem dia is 0.25"; threaded connection is 1/2" NPT(M). All thermometers meet or exceed ASME B40.3 standards. Maximum environmental temperature for glass lens thermometers is 500°F (148°C).

• Dampened movement
• More economical than silicone gauges
• Greater temperature range than a silicone-filled gauges
• Anti-parallax dial for accurate readings
• Eliminate the risk of a leaking case and cross-contamination
• Rugged 304 stainless steel construction with a clear glass lens
• Recalibrate using the external reset screw
• Hermetically sealed per ASME B40.3 standard to prevent fogging and protect against tough environments

99760-50 Traceable® Three-Scale Dial Barometer with Calibration; mbar/"Hg/mm Hg by Digi-Sense

Three-Scale dial barometer measures atmospheric pressure in millibar (mbar), inches Hg, and mm Hg. The barometer is housed in corrosion-proof nickel-chrome case. Set the adjustable pointer to measure changes in pressure. Barometers are calibrated to NIST-traceable standards and include certificate. Includes altitude adjustment screw, notched deskstand, and wall mount. Measures 1.3"D x 4" dia.

Traceable® products are calibrated to NIST-traceable standards and ready to use as soon as you receive it. Each product goes through an intense vetting process before it can carry the Traceable name, and it includes NIST-traceable certification. This means that a 17025-accredited calibration test lab has confirmed that the product meets or exceeds all stated specifications, saving you both time and money by not having to calibrate separately.

NIST-traceable calibration also helps you meet quality standards and regulatory compliance for ISO, FDA, cGMP, VFC, CAP, CLIA and Joint Commission requirements.

• Get accurate, reliable measurements with included NIST-traceable calibration

Includes:

NIST-traceable calibration certificate with data.

MW700-WP Standard Portable Lux Meter with Waterproof Probe by Milwaukee

MW700 is a portable Lux meter designed to perform light measurements. MW700 with Faster Micro Processor, has a smaller, ergonomic and lighter case design. Other features include 100% larger and easier to read LCD Display and long battery life.

These handy and ergonomically designed portable meters are ideal for anyone working on a low budget and still requires fast and reliable measurements. These portable meters are suitable for a wide range of applications, such as Educational, Agriculture and Horticulture, as well as water and environmental analysis.

Both models are supplied with a light sensor connected to the meter that measures from 0 to 50000 Lux.

Average indoor lighting ranges from 100 to 1000 Lux and average outdoor sun lights about 50000 Lux. Lux is a unit that indicates the density of light that falls on a surface.

The light is necessary for the development of the plants. In fact, it is necessary a sufficient contribution of light in order to favor the photosynthesis and the closing of the plants.

The supplement of light by means of lamps electrical workers is the method simpler and economic in order to bring the necessary light to the plants.

The human eye is sensitive only to blue, green, and red light, so in calculating the Lux falling on an object, only the light that the human eye sees is counted. When only infrared light falls on an object, the Lux is counted as zero since our eyes see nothing. Mathematically, a spectral weighting function becomes convolved with the actual illumination spectrum to calculate Lux exactly.

This is the formal definition of Lux and it makes Lux an unusual unit of measure.
